How do I make a chocolate fondue myself?

To prepare a chocolate fondue, you melt chocolate (dark, milk or white) together with cream or milk to achieve a creamy and smooth consistency. The melted chocolate is poured into a fondue pot or bowl and kept warm over a heat source. Then various foods such as strawberries, bananas, grapes, pineapple chunks, small pieces of cake, marshmallows or other treats are placed on skewers or fondue forks and dipped into the chocolate.
