Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) is an international cruise line headquartered in Miami, Florida. The company was founded in 1966 by Norwegian shipowner Knut Kloster as Norwegian Caribbean Lines. NCL offers cruises in the Caribbean, Europe, North America, South America, Asia, Australia and New Zealand.
The shipping company currently operates 18 ships, all of which begin with the name "Norwegian". NCL's modern fleet is known for its innovative designs, modern facilities and extensive entertainment and leisure offerings. There are ships of various sizes and capacities, from smaller ships with a capacity of around 2,000 passengers to larger ships with a capacity of over 4,000 passengers.
NCL's innovative "Freestyle Cruising" concept offers guests more freedom and flexibility in their choice of meals, entertainment and activities. Guests can individually choose when and where they want to eat without having to make reservations in advance. All ships have numerous restaurants, from buffet restaurants to specialty restaurants.
NCL has partnerships with well-known entertainment companies that offer exclusive shows for passengers on selected ships. In addition, the ships also feature Broadway productions, comedy shows, magicians and other entertainment.
