Cruise ships
Cruise ships are large passenger vessels that are often luxuriously appointed for multi-day voyages at sea or on rivers. They have several decks with cabins, restaurants, bars, pools, fitness rooms, theatres and other entertainment and leisure facilities. They are often also equipped with wellness areas and spas. The cabins on cruise ships are usually comfortably furnished and have amenities such as a private bathroom, a TV and air conditioning. There are inside cabins as well as outside cabins, balcony cabins and suites.
Cruise ships sail on routes along the coast or on the open sea, calling at various ports where passengers have the opportunity to take part in shore excursions or explore the surroundings on their own. Some ships are specially equipped to conduct expedition cruises, where passengers can go ashore in remote locations and areas.
